Laxmi Niwas Palace

Redefining the word palatial with its behemoth structure, the Laxmi Niwas Palace is the definition of the word luxury itself. A masterpiece of the British architect, the hotel has been one of the flagship luxury hotels in India.

Each of the 42 palatial rooms in the hotel has been reconstructed keeping the architecture of the 18th century in mind, with designers frequently referring to photographs as old as 1937 for references. The rooms are well-furnished and replete with all the modern amenities for a pleasurable stay.

The guests can enjoy a cultural evening of traditional dance and music along with desert trekking organized by the hotel. Also, there are separate games room, a tennis court and badminton court for the guests to engage in recreational activities.

Swarna Mahala, the onsite restaurant offers multi-cuisine dishes while the Rajasthan Village gives its guests a taste of traditional rajasthani food. The main attraction however, is the Dinner in the Sand Dunes where themed dinners are organized in a camping like setup among the desert sand.

The conference hall made for a private room for the maharaja and now is an excellent wedding location with its richly decorated gold-themed walls and spacious seating arrangements.

The Planning room

The Planning Room is our occasional letter; a quiet pause in your inbox with thoughtful prompts, honest planning truths, and slow stories to return to. The kind you might want to save. Or read again later.

Here’s a small excerpt from a recent one:

“You don’t need a full guest list or locked-in date to start.
You just need one clear conversation to cut through the noise.”
